The Women in Medicine Network is an organisation that supports, encourages and advocates for women in medicine in Ireland. Each Sunday they choose a female medic, past or present, and acknowledge their contribution to medicine in Ireland.

We are thrilled that on Sunday 16th of October 2022 they chose Dr Ann Shortt for her contribution to the field of Medicine.
